and so the warriors are out and pacers have done nothing much to stay in the playoffs, but the best part is the cavaliers haf managed to maintain home court advantage for playoffs...talking about the nba, i can accept all the current mvp candidates,i mean chris paul did a great job in lifting the hornets (still wont forget the pass he made that gave them the buzzer beating win over cleveland),kevin garnett single-handedly gave the nba the greatest turnabout in a team and lebron james, i mean he can do everythig and shines every second he is on court and its a nightmare for defenders to haf him around but why on earth do they see kobe as the one to most probably take the title...it is not confirmed yet but i do not understand why the people in the cable rooms do not see players who are playmakers and give teamates a boost in "dream time" but someone who scores over 80 points a night...i have to admit kobe has matured as a team player and we can see that in the diff bts his partnership with shaq compared to pau gasol...but still, look at the team lakers got and the team the celtics or hornets or cleveland has...isnt it tougher to build a team around that...? even if kobe does win it i haf no worries, he is stil one of the best players to ever play the game, maybe the playoffs mite see him do more than just score...
i had pt earlier and skipped my basketball trainning with the russians as i was no where near fit to play...my fitness has been really out and i need the break, but nevertheless i played for a bit during pt itself and well the battle wasnt between 2 eams but 2 players,me and their point guard...cant remember his name but he really made me step up my game.the moment i entered court i assumed my role as a guard and supplied my teamates balls rather then take shots...i knew he was a good playeras i had played with him a couple of times...just didnt realise he improved so much in such a short time...in about 5 minutes he was dropping 3 point shots followed by out of the blue fade aways and well this realli pissed me off coz i couldnt do anything...decided to mark him nstead and from then on it was a rumble...wenever he dropped shots i followed and wenever i brought the ball to the ring he did the same...i the end it was like the game was simply between the 2 of us...i cant remember the last time i dropped 6 3-points n a row...i acted cool but was on my nerves each tie i took the shot...was an amazing feeling...in the end i didnt keep track of the final score but he mite hafscored about 1 or 2 extra points compared to me but i made sure my teamates scored wenever they seemed open...tried my best to keep them in the game but at times wen they couldnt keep up with me i had to do it all..hope it didnt seem like showboating wen i did a couple of fakes or tricks to score but well i did wat i did to win...not sure of the score but i think we won lah...woah the feeling of one of the fadeaways from the side 3 point line was just amazing...can still feel it now...wanna be able to step up my game like this all the time...
