balshoi's birthday's after party at "club tunnel"

it was a normal night on the 29th...anaand,vivien amy and myself went for a freezing run (the first of many to come...thank God for this weather!!) and we got ready for balshoi's birthday party celebration which was filled with lotsa "sentimental" speeches...and then it started...our after party plan...to go tunneling...

got everyone in cabs and we headed there...oh and yeah this is my first clubbing experience in moscow and wat a way to announce a first trip eh..
the moment i entered i was totally in shock to hear techno beats...i was thinking that the beat was gonna change but it didnt and then later realised it was techno nite...the music was pure boring coz of its repetitiveness but we still di manage to dance to a few songs lah coz well, thats wat we went there for ryt?

so we danced and took several breaks inbetween to just chill and enjoy 3rd hand smoke...haha.

an awesome weekend aft a long time...

hey guys...if you're wondering what took me so long to write this post, well its coz i havent been that well. i have been down with a terible bacterial infection last friday which started off as a fever followed by alll the other symptoms like pain at my joints and feeling cold all the tie coupled with the loss of appetite. to top it all i was actually coughing blood as well...the coughing blood thing stopped prob on thursday and that was when i started regaining my strength...

teachers here, i tell you...dunno wats up with them...just by missing a weeks worth of class my russian teacher has threatened to hold back her zachut and my bio and chem teachers have respectively made my year one path to an aftermath a nightmare...and thats when i decided, well if i have to sit for the final exam including the oral i will do it, no complaints!!!i am here to shine yeah...a diamond will continue to shine even if you throw it in mud, rite? well if what it takes to prove i deserve to be here is the hardest path i am taking it...i was made for challenges...and when i think like this, it makes me wonder, what is so difficult about 1st year medicine...its fun and challenging...all that i wanted in a nutshell...so yeah looking forward to another awesome week...

so that as what happened during the week...and in the weekend vivien, my roomate and myself had a little party of our own....had mcd and a salmon pie at Ram Store, bought back 2 extremely cheap B&R's ice cream tub...haha wat a way to celebrate rite after being bed-ridden for a week rite...?haha

and today just topped my weekend wen it started with sports...had handball practice which was rather short but amazingli awesome coz i was able to sweat in a long time...

haf a great week then people...!
cheers, and God bless!!

the best game yet...

since i came to moscow,i havent really done much sports. if i said i was too busy it would be an excuse lah but the real reason lies in the weather news. the outdoors are out of bounds, unless of course u wanna catch pneumonia or something far worse. i do play futsal from time to time on a regulatory basis of at least once a week but for those who know me u would know that would never be enough for me,ha thats just the way i am built...

besides i havent really played much basketball since getting here but wat i can tell u from the games i have played thus far, havent realli pushed myself till yesterday...had the best game.we played for about 2 and a half hours in which abt an hour and a half were with a group or russians.they were kinda good but i had better teammates, billy and dominic who kinda help lift me throughout the game...we played a full fullcourt game and seriously it was my best game in moscow. heightwise we were nothing compared to them bt we seriousli whooped them. a halftime my tally was something like 10 points 21 assists and 20 steals and blocks and about 25 rebounds. in case you are wondering wat happened aft that...wel it went on and i lost count of the tally after that...it was such a good game.i would normali think of scoring in a game and putting my name on the mark but yesterday t wastotali different,i wanted my whole team to play well so i played the point guard and defensive center role and allowed them to haf their best game i am sure. i had a smile on my face throughput the game and billy and dominic would testify that i was never tired coz it was so fun playing a good game like that after a long time.

and then i realised, basketball is more than a game wer ppl put balls in hoops.its basically a game wer communiction and teamwork are vital, these things that are normally lacking in a half court game can be found in a full court game. i hope i can have games like this more often. wen sports is enjoyed like this, one can onli wish for it to last forever...

going to the gmes that we used to play in sri muda and sunway college this was nothing bt i hope the pace of the game will step up lah...cant wait to haf one og those games. all i can say is that i will keep pushing myself to the max and wen i cant push any longer i will still try...watta do, sports mean alot to me!
